The shift to USB-C is perhaps the most practical design change, finally aligning the iPhone with the modern connectivity standard used by most devices today. The display remains protected by Apple's Ceramic Shield, while the textured matte glass back feels premium and resists fingerprints well.

The 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display continues to impress with its ProMotion technology that enables a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz. The display can now reach a peak brightness of 2000 nits outdoors, making it easier to use in direct sunlight.
